Our Coaches
Dedication, Expertise and Passion
At OPV we pride ourselves on providing the best, truly qualified coaches around. To us, that means they have the context of playing at a high level (college) or coaching at a high level themselves (or both!). Afterall, how can we train our players to play at a high level if we haven't been there ourselves? We pay our coaches better than anyone around because we value their experience and expertise. Club is an investment, take a look below at what you are investing in when it comes to coaching.
Meet Our Coaches and Staff

Jenna Meligan-Street
Owner / Club Director
16 National Head Coach
As a graduate of Lakeridge High School, Jenna was a two time 1st Team All-League selection before competing for 4 seasons at California Lutheran University. Her CLU program made it to the Elite 8 in the NCAA tournament, while during that time she also coached for one of Southern California's top junior club volleyball programs.
At 24 years old, Jenna became the head volleyball coach at Wilson High School. In her first season she lead the team to a PIL League Championship, before starting her own juniors club in Portland, Oregon, Agape Volleyball Club. In year three the team saw their first trip to 6A State playoffs for the first time in school history. After three seasons at Wilson, she accepted the most challenging job in coaching; starting a college program.
Jenna was brought in by Multnomah University to become the schools first NAIA head women's volleyball coach at just 27 years old. With little resources, she spent four seasons building the program from the ground up at MU and putting the Lions on the map. Under Jenna's leadership the volleyball team was the first in school history to beat a NAIA top 10 team in 2018, the first to beat an NCAA DII team in 2019, had the most players of any team at MU to make Academic All-Conference, and had the highest team GPA out of the entire school. In 2019, Jenna parted ways with MU seeking a new challenge more in line with her personal mission and goals, which led to the formation of Oregon Premier Volleyball.

Tamara Manzo
12 Premier Head Coach
Tamara started playing volleyball in the 7th grade and went on to play volleyball for Gladstone High School’s varsity team as the starting middle hitter, earning All-League Honorable Mention her senior year. She played club volleyball her sophomore through senior year, ending her senior year with Portland Volleyball Club and earned an athletic scholarship to Umpqua Community College (UCC).
During her freshmen year at UCC, Tamara led her team in percentage of kills and blocks which earned her the honors of UCC offensive player of the week for three weeks, Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC) player of the week, and a spot on the Mt. Hood Classic All-Tournament Team. Tamara has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the State University of New York at New Paltz.

Tamara’s coaching philosophy is to foster the love of the game and to meet players to help establish a growth mindset. As not all players start from the same place, through positive, disciplined and focused training, players can grow into effective, athletic and dynamic players. Lifting players up, helping them create goals and holding them accountable for the goals they set, can foster a lifetime of success both on and off the court.

Tamara is the CFO and co-owner of Prestige Power Systems, a solar and electrical contractor in Happy Valley. Tamara and her husband Sean have two children, Austin and Rylee.
